LOS ANGELES — Rosie O’Donnell, a former star of daytime talk, is quietly preparing a return to television with two former Warner Brothers syndication executives.

The Los Angeles Times reported on Saturday that Rory Kennedy would be the program’s executive producer. Through a spokesman, Ms. Kennedy, a filmmaker and a daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, declined to comment.
