THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH Student/Newcomer Symposium Glenn Vasbinder, B.S. in business administration from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, currently the Records Administrator for The Hillman Company, a private holding company. Vasbinder was alive during the Kennedy administration, and has always been fascinated by the man and subsequently the assassination. His special relationship to Kennedy is through the world of philately, or stamp collecting. He designs his own slide shows, and have given presentations on other subjects to groups such as the JFK Lancer audience. In addition, with James Sawa, he has both designed a 10 week college-level course on Kennedy's life and death and have co-authored the book "A Compilation of the Book Relating to the Life and Assassination of President John F. Kennedy." James Sawa, BS in business and MBA from Duquesne University
in Pittsburgh. His interest in the Kennedy assassination dates
back to childhood as his family followed President Kennedy's life
and subsequently the investigations into his assassination. Sawa
speaks to small groups in the Pittsburgh area and with Vasbinder
has designed a 10-week college course of Kennedy's life and death.
They have co-authored the book "A Compilation of the Book
Relating to the Life and Assassination of President John F. Kennedy."
Setting The Stage George Michael Evica, is a much-published author on
JFK. Evica has lectured widely and won praise for his book, "And
We Are All Mortal." He is producer and broadcaster of the
weekly radio show, "Assassination Journal," the longest-running
public affairs program on a single subject (the JFK Assassination)
in the US. The show is now available on the Internet. George Michael
is also Senior Editor of the "Kennedy
Assassination Chronicles" and is working on a series
of new books. Tony Baltakis, received his Ph.D in History from the
University of Akron, he is an assistant professor of History at
the Louisiana State University at Eunice. Baltakis wrote his Dissertation
for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy on the McClelland Committee.
John M. Williams, Ph.D, Department of Human Development, Family Living and Community Educational Services, University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, Wisconsin. TOPIC: Robert Morrow: Agent Exile, Williams has conducted a series of interviews with Robert D. Morrow, the CIA contract agent who claimed he had provided the rifles used in the assassination of President Kennedy. (Morrow died in May, 1998) Pieces of the Puzzle Panel-1 Stewart Galanor, author of the new book "Cover-Up."
His research on the Kennedy Assassination dates back to 1964 where
some of which appeared in Mark Lane's book "Rush to Judgment."
Connie Kritzberg, author of "Secrets
From The Sixth Floor," Kritzberg was a reporter at the
"Dallas Times Herald" on November 22, 1963, and interviewed
two significant figures in the assassination. She remained a reporter
until the 1980s and has written several papers and two books on
the assassination. She was certain of a cover-up from 1963 on.
When working in Washington, D.C. in 1968, she was a volunteer
in Bobby Kennedy's campaign for President until he was assassinated.
Doug Weldon, a graduate of Olivet College with majors
in Political Science, Sociology, and Education, obtained his Juris
Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and practiced law since
1978. He further obtained a masters degree in educational leadership
from Western Michigan University in 1984. He is currently an attorney
and hearing officer in Michigan and also an adjunct professor
at Western Michigan University in the department of Sociology
and in the graduate program in Educational Leadership. Weldon
has been actively studying the death of John Kennedy for almost
20 years, and is currently working on a book manuscript. E. Martin Schotz, MD-practices psychiatry in Boston,
Mass. He has a BA in Mathematics from Carleton College, and an
MD from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to practicing
psychiatry he is a playwright, essayist, short story writer, and
amateur jazz drummer. He is also author of "History
Will Not Absolve Us: Orwellian control, public denial, and
the murder of President Kennedy." Pieces of the Puzzle Panel-2 Angus Crane, General Counsel to the North American Insulation
Manufacturers Association in Virginia. Prior to joining the NAIMA,
Crane was an environmental lawyer in Washington, D.C. and was
also appointed to an attorney position for the Appellate Section
of the United States Department of Justice's Environment and Natural
Resources Division through the Attorney General's Honor Law Graduate
Program Martha Moyer, B.S., MAE, American History major, Counseling
Degree Ball State University, Retired educator Ian Griggs, a retired career police officer who has
been studying the assassination seriously since 1970 and has presented
research papers at several US conferences. Griggs is editor of
United Kingdom's "The Dealey Plaza Echo" journal of
the British group Dealey Plaza UK.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH Pieces of the Puzzle Panel-3 Joseph Backes, is a national authority on the Assassination
Records Review Board document releases. He has attended every
meeting of the Board, including their presentations to the American
Historical Association and Organization of American Historians.
Backes has testified before the ARRB twice and publishes notes
on each document released. Madeleine Brown, Dallas resident and former mistress
of President Lyndon Johnson; author of "Texas
In The Morning," with Jim Fetzer, editor of "Assassination
Science" The Zapruder Film Jack White, co-author of "Assassination
Science," former consultant to the House Select Committee
On Assassinations Art & Margaret Snyder, Margaret Snyder is a librarian
at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and has been
examining the conspiracy since the late 60s. Arthur Snyder is
a physicist at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and was inspired
by movie "JFK" - to the delight of his wife - to examine
the aspects of the assassination which he is most qualified to
look into: the headsnap and the jet effect first postulated by
Nobel Prize winner Luis Alvarez and later given greater import
by John Lattimer, the House Committee and Gerald Posner. The Zapruder Film Panel & Zavada Report Review Hal Verb, long-time JFK assassination researcher Josiah Thompson, Ph.D, former member of the Yale Philosophy Department and Professor of Philosophy at Haverford College, ex-Navy Frogman and author of `Six Seconds in Dallas.' Thompson for the last twenty years has been a private investigator serving last year as defense investigator for Timothy McVeigh in the Oklahoma City bombing case. Martin Shackelford, is a Michigan social worker with a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Michigan. He has been researching the JFK assassination since 1974, focusing primarily on the photographic evidence. (not attending, paper read) David Mantik, M.D, Ph.D- trained physicist, now physician and a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. He has done pioneering work studying the autopsy x-rays with densitometry, an investigation never before performed; co-author of "Assassination Science." David Lifton, graduate of Cornell University's School of Engineering Physics (1962). He is the author of "Best Evidence: Disguise and Deception in the Assassination of President Kennedy." Lifton is also the producer and writer of the "Best Evidence: The Research Video," released in 1989 and has sold nearly 50,000 copies. Lifton has lectured widely on the subject of the medical evidence and its relationship to the issue of conspiracy in the Kennedy assassination. He recently testified before the Assassination Records and Review Board, where he donated a special 35mm copy of the Zapruder film to the National Archives, as well as many of the original interviews that were the basis for "Best Evidence" He is currently working on a biography of Lee Oswald. Post articles from 11-9-98 John Armstrong, began researching JFK in 1990. His research
has focused exclusively on following the assassination and he
has spent many months at the National Archives as well as visiting
and interviewing dozens of witnesses who knew Lee Oswald from
Montana to Mass. and Florida to California. A few of those witnesses
will be attending Armstrong's JFK Lancer presentation.

and "The New Republic." He has been cited in books by
authors like Anthony Summers and John Newman. His upcoming book
has been endorsed by authorities ranging from veteran FBI agent
William Turner to Kennedy biographer John Davis. Another Look At The Paines Panel Carol Hewett, Florida attorney specializing in the study
of Michael and Ruth Paine. Steve Jones, B.A. in History from Lebanon Valley College,
Annville, PA; an ordained Lutheran minister and a Fellow in the
Association of Professional Chaplains and is a chaplain at the
Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans' Center in PA. Jones began
studying the Kennedy assassination in 1983 after reading "Best
Evidence" by David Lifton and has been researching Ruth and
Michael Paine since 1994. He has been published in "Probe,"
"The Fourth Decade," "Open Secrets," and also
in the "Humanist" magazine. Nancy Wertz, became interested in political violence
in the mid 1960s. Since that time, she has dedicated her time
to research the JFK assassination. During the early 1970s, she
had a weekly radio college talk show in California. She has provided
assistance to authors and researchers, and together with Gordon
Winslow, created the first Researchers Directory in the early
90s to foster sharing in the research community. She has specialized
in the examination of Marita Lorenz and Ruth Paine. Gaeton Fonzi, author
of "The Last Investigation" and former investigator
for the House Select Committee On Assassinations on the murder
of President Kennedy; an award winning investigative journalist,
former senior editor of "Philadelphia" magazine, a contributor
to the "Chicago Tribune" and the "New York Daily
News," consultant to "60 Minutes," NBC Nightly
news," and "Inside Edition."
The Murder of Officer Tippit Dale Myers, a 20 year veteran of radio and television.
Honored in '83 by the Assoc. Press for his radio documentary on
the JFK slaying. Authored "The Detroit News" 25th anniversary
coverage of the murder, and served as an expert consultant for
1993s BBC/Frontline documentary, "Who Was Lee Harvey Oswald?"
David Lifton, author of "Best Evidence" book
and has an upcoming book on Lee Harvey Oswald. Jim Marrs,
a Texas-based journalist whose classic book on the JFK assassination,
"Crossfire: The Plot To Kill President Kennedy", was a New York Times bestseller and one of
the sources of Oliver Stone's film, "JFK." His latest
book, Alien Agenda (1997), shifts his attention to UFOs and the
government cover-ups surrounding them. Marrs also teaches a college
course on the assassination. ARRB Workshop Joe Backes Anna Marie Kuhns-Walko, researches the Kennedy era,
specializing in the assassination. She holds a BAAS in both computer
science and business administration, with master degree work in
political science. She is a leading Archive II Researcher who
has spent literally hundreds of hours at the National Archive
JFK Collection reviewing and copying released documents. Ed Hoffman-with translator, Ron Friedrich, During the motorcade, Hoffman, a deaf-mute, was standing on the freeway west of the parking lot atop the grassy knoll, enabling him to view happenings behind the picket fence. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND Lawrence Teeter, a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who began his law practice in 1978, has represented Sirhan Sirhan since 1994. Teeter has submitted a lengthy Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus seeking an evidentiary hearing and a new trial for Sirhan. The Intelligence Community Studies Glenn Cressy Larry Hancock, currently works as Director of Marketing
and Communications for Hayes Microcomputer Products. He graduated
from the University of New Mexico with majors in history and anthropology.
Larry has worked in various areas of communications technology
for over 20 years, after spending 4 years in the U.S. Air Force.
Larry has been seriously interested in the JFK Assassination since
1989 when hooked by reading books by Jim Marrs and Anthony Summers.
In the last three years he has been years focusing on the tactical
aspects of Dealey Plaza, as well as the trail of pre-assassination
knowledge and warnings. George Michael Evica Sherry Sullivan, of organization, "Forgotten Families
of the Cold War," offering information on FOIA, research
and investigations, and is now compiling all her research, including
her personal story of her own father's (Geoffrey Sullivan) disappearance
and involvement with the 60s covert operations.
Kerry McCarthy, John Kennedy's
cousin and family historian, born to Marylou and Matthew McCarthy
shortly after the Korean War into one of America's most politically
involved families. Her grandmother, Loretta Kennedy Connelly,
was the sister of Joseph P. Kennedy. Remembrance Ceremony George Michael Evica Kerry McCarthy Roger Peterson, a Sacramento-based marketing consultant and business writer who has followed the JFK murder since the moment it happened. He wrote an article on the case, entitled "DeClassified," for the August 1996 issue of "American History" Magazine. Peterson was one of the speakers in Dealey Plaza last fall. TBA Bus Tour-- Bus Tour Narration, Bill Drenas Toward 2000 Debra Conway, Co-Owner of JFK Lancer Charles Drago, is a writer, jazz critic, and author
of the novel "Autumn Too Long," a work in progress,
which is based on the assassination of John Kennedy. George Michael
Evica has called Drago the "moral conscience" of the
